About the event
The 2025 Inter-island Midwife Gathering is hosted by the Hawaii Affiliate of the American College of Nurse Midwives, the Hawaii Homebirth Collective, Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies and the Pactific Birth Collective.
This event is generously sponsored by Natera, Healing Midwifery, and the American College of Nurse Midwives Foundation and is FREE to midwives and student midwives to attend. Airfare stipends could be available to those traveling from neighbor islands who do not have workplace professional development funds - stay tuned! CEUs pending.
Only midwives and students residing in Hawaii are eligible to attend.
The keynote speakers Molly Altman, CNM, researcher and associate professor at the University of Hawaii Manoa and Ellen Solis, CNM, researcher and associate professor at University of Washington will present on "Healing Midwifery", a qualitative research innitiave aimed at healing the divides in midwifery communities.
